I had been listening to a video post on HRM Asia on strengthening the diversity at workplace.
One of the aspects he touched while delivering the lecture which i liked, is bringing in cross cultural diversity in your workplace which serves a lot of our purposes as HR. The pain points in any organisational system being distrust, favoritism and unclear purpose are things many public and private organisations have had to cope with.
By bringing in cross culture we mend some of these loop holes as in the system, establishing a bridge where our employees give in to trusting their peers and management, which makes them risk taking and more accountable for their jobs .
So I guess we do a li'l offbeat recruitment while keeping the big picture in mind while on boarding people at our companies.
